African Sweetheart's Man Of The Week: Joseph Ichull Jr.

'Man of The Week is a celebration of the good African man. A man who works hard to be a provider and upholds strong values and principles.'

I'm Joseph Ichull Jr. Most people call me Jay Jay. Born and raised in Benue State, Nigeria to a Tiv dad and Igbo mom.

My mother raised me for the most part and that's where I got my excellent cooking skills from. I moved to San Diego, Ca after high school and joined the Navy after a few years of college where I studied Biology.

In the Navy, I trained as a Field Medic (Hospital Corpsman) and was deployed overseas a few times, then later went back to school to be a Respiratory Therapist.

I'm currently working as a Respiratory Care Practitioner for a military hospital in Virginia and a few other civilian hospitals. I specialize in Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal Critical care but I prefer working with premature babies, neonates and infants. It's my passion.

I'm going back to school to become a Neonatologist or Cardiologist, then go back to Nigeria and help my people.

Joseph in action, surely cooking up something delicious.

I love to cook a lot, that's why my friends are always around my house and all my neighbours are my friends. Soccer is my favorite sport and i'm pretty good at it.

Qualities important for a woman to have? Hmmmm... Women are naturally wonderful creatures, and I thank God for them everyday.

But generally speaking, I think a good woman should be decent, confident, honest, independent, well 'cultured' and Beautiful inside and out.

We like him already. The man of the week title couldn't have gone to a better candidate!....and he can cook!!!! he can cook!!!! lol
African Sweetheart wishes you the very best Joseph. Keep on being you!

It's as if I should start adding the Man of the week's email's on these posts... ;)
