Cape Town, South Africa
On my first trip to Cape Town in South Arica, I and my fiancé stayed at Cape Grace hotel by the V&A waterfront.
As someone who loves to travel and likes to do my research beforehand on location and accommodation (tripadvisor is a gem!!), I was very thorough before we decided on this booking.
There were lots of things that I loved about this hotel from their awesome beds to their cute postcard and pretty furniture and lovely toiletries and I found it hard leaving the hotel everyday to explore Cape Town.
Cape Grace is a 5 star boutique hotel with amazing views of the waterfront and table top mountain (we were lucky enough to get a room facing the quay). The hotel has all of the modern amenities you would expect from a leading hotel and I was particularly impressed by the fact that the mini balcony opened with double doors ( I am a sucker for French style double doors).
What really sets this hotel apart from others in my opinion is their customer service. From the door men to the receptionists, staff at the restaurants and concierge, the service was impeccable and they remembered everything- our name, drinks preference at the bar and how we liked our eggs made at breakfast!
This hotel is a perfect setting for couples celebrating their honeymoon, anniversary or just enjoying the finer things in life.
It is also an excellent base for exploring all a that Cape Town has to offer and during our time, we were able to enjoy a fantastic personal tour of Cape Town in a private LR4 which was all organised by concierge at the hotel.
We couldn't be happier about our stay here and I would definitely recommend this hotel...
