Relationships: 5 Types Of Women Men Should Stay Away From...

Written by a man!

Women are always quick to state what they hate about men, trying to prove that it’s them who should work towards keeping the relationship going. However, it’s not always men who are to be blamed. Let’s face it, as there are things women hate about men, there are also quite a few things that men hate about women. Here are few kinds of women that men tend to stay away from:

Miss clingy
Believed to be every man’s worst fear, this type of woman frequently verbalises how desperate she is to get married. Clinginess is a big mix of insecurity, possessiveness, and other self-esteem issues. Men generally end up identifying such women only when they can are well into a relationship. Though such women initially appear to be independent, once they are in a relationship and feels safe, her neediness begins to manifest.

Miss I, me, myself
Unlike other women, these are the ones most men will give chance and try to win over, simply because these women are a challenge. Because of the strength these women possess most men tend to avoid commitment with them. However, they are captivated by this strength and view winning them over as conquest. These women have both, the competitiveness of a man and the sensitivity of a woman. In an instant, they can switch from being seductive to emotionally distant. In fact, they use their hatred for men as a shield to avoid being hurt.

Miss I’m the best
It is believed that successful women are the ones men tend to feel threatened by and to an extent it holds true. Actually, men are not threatened by successful women, but are of the opinion that successful women do not need them.

A lot of women often say that they do not need a man to make them happy, as they earn good money, own a house, and have a wonderful social life. Such women do not depend on men and this is what puts them off the list. Definitely men do not want a woman who is totally dependent on them, but when a confident woman allows herself to depend on them, man get flattered.

Miss chatter-box
For a man, a talkative woman is neither good nor bad. Most women are accused of being too talkative when, in reality, they are speaking more simply because they are discussing a subject that is of great interest to them and not just because women talk more. In a woman’s world, everyone speaks together. In the world of men, it is considered rude to speak out of turn and one is not to be interrupted by the other until he’s done. Therefore, when a woman asks a man a question and he proceeds to answer her – and then she begins to interject her opinions for the next 10 minutes – he’ll just quit trying.

Miss read my mind
For some reason, a woman expects her man to know exactly what she’s thinking at all times. As a result, she constantly tests him, using his responses to gauge his level of love. This type of behaviour should be avoided, as very few men are interested in dealing with the constant guessing games.

Nelson Mandela Said To Be 'Critical In Hospital'

President Jacob Zuma visited Mr Mandela’s doctors and wife Graca Machel, and said that the former president’s health had deteriorated over the past 24 hours.
He said his doctors were still “doing everything possible” to try to improve his situation.
The announcement late on Sunday night was the first time the 94-year-old former president’s condition has been described so seriously since he was admitted to hospital on June 8 for a recurring lung infection.

His condition had previously been described as “serious but stable condition”. Comments last week from Mandela family members and his presidential successor, Thabo Mbeki, had suggested Mr Mandela’s health was improving.
However, the announcement of the downturn sparked deep concern among South Africans that the end could be drawing near for the country’s first black president, who led the country from apartheid to democracy 20 years ago.

Praying that the good Lord will take control.

Man Of The Week: Kenneth Onyejekwe

'Man of The Week is a celebration of the good African man. A man who works hard to be a provider and upholds strong values and principles.'

My name is Kenneth Onyejekwe, I am originally from Imo State, Nigeria. I am Mr Africa EMU Cyprus 2013 and a student in Eastern Mediterranean University Cyprus studying International relations.

I developed love for fashion and styles a long time ago and I am also a designer with plans of settling into the fashion world and possibly owning my own line.

I believe part of being a great man, is recognizing the value of a great woman, and so my qualities for such a woman is:

1) She has to be truthful and confident: should be happy with herself and her own abilities, should embrace her femininity and be proud to be a woman.

2) She should have a strong handle of her emotions.

3) She should be strong and independent.

4) She should define her purpose and protect her values.

5) She should be honest, patient and upfront.

6) She should also be ready to value a real man.

Sounds like a promising young man. African Sweetheart wishes you all the very best in your exciting future en-devours!

Unbelievable! Nigerian 'Micheal Jackson' Shares His Regret

Less than a week to mark the fourth year exit of  king of pop music, Michael Jackson who died on June 25, 2009, his Nigerian look-alike, Michael Eze popularly known as Walko-Chilko, has blamed no one  but himself for his inability to get in touch  with the “stage idol” while he lived.

Expressing regrets in a chat with Showtime during the week, Walko-Chilko  said, “ The greatest mistake I have ever made in my life was my inability to meet Michael before his death. While he lived, people advised me to send my photograph to him, but I never took the advice seriously until after his death.”

Speaking further, Walko-Chilko  revealed that when PMAN used him to welcome Marlon Jackson to the country a few years ago, the first question the latter asked was whether his brother knew his activities.

The Imo State-born pop singer who is returning to the spotlight with a new album, ‘Come Let’s Heal The World,’ described the late king of pop as “ the greatest entertainer that ever lived in the history of the world.”

However, explaining why he decided to imitate the late Michael Jackson’s lifestyle even after his death, Walko-Chilko noted that they share a lot in common. “I play pop and I’m a good dancer. I  believe I have the same look with Michael Jackson despite my colour. I admire Jackson very much and I believe even the life a black man is living today is imitated,” he explained.

The pop star’s new album is being dedicated to the late Michael Jackson’s Heal The World Foundation. According to him, Jackson’s legacy has to be sustained.  “I wrote the song in support of Michael Jackson’s Heal the World Foundation. It was written because children of the world need helping hands.”

The  10-track  album also features songs like ‘My Love is Free”  ‘Pretty Mama Jama”, “Peace for Africa”   and ‘African Heroes’.

According to Walko-Chilko, the songs in the album are mainly party songs that flow with the trend.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Of all the things to regret!
